Seeds of War by Rachel Fisher : Review

I received a copy of this book from the author, Rachel Fisher, for reviewing purposes. Thanks for that by the way! (:

Okay. First thing's first. I am so in love with this cover, I just want to dye my hair like the colours in the sky. It is so pretty. The book was pretty awesome too, which is always a good thing. I can't get enough of this series! It might take a little while switching back and forth between paper books and ebooks, but I'll gladly do it. If you haven't read the first book, Eden's Root, I definitely recommend it. This is the second book of this series, and I honestly can't wait for the third one!
My first thoughts about this book were, I love the cover, I can't wait to read it, and 'oh my god, there's another one!', which was definitely a good sign. I wasn't really sure what was going to happen in this installment, but it didn't matter. I was excited ever since it arrived in the mail. I'm happy I was able to read this, and you should definitely read it too. Though filled with action and many more awesome things, it was a little too fast for me, and while reading I was often lost because things changed so quickly. But besides that, it was an awesome book!
I think that's all I'm going to say about that. You've probably gotten the idea of what I thought of it by now, and if you don't know what this book is about, you could probably just read my review of Eden's Root, (If I'm remembering correctly) and get the same idea. So yeah. Check out this series, and check out these links! (:

Mik Murdoch by Michell Plested: Review

I wasn't really sure what I was expecting coming into this book, other than thinking I might not like it. Usually, I don't like books about little kids. Because usually, books about little kids are written for little kids. That is not necessarily true with this book. I mean, sure, I might not have been totally into it at the beginning, but it was a good book. I almost believed it. It could have been something that had actually happened until the whole superpowers part. But hey. It's fiction. You can't believe it all, right?
At the beginning of the book, Mik is just like any regular nine year old boy. Until, that is, he see's Spiderman for the first time, and that gets him thinking. What if he could be a superhero? That begins his journey of becoming a superhero. It may have taken a couple years, and he may have wanted to give up a couple times, but it happened. I love how he never gave up on it, when if I were in his position, I would have given up more than once, and that just shows what a good character he is. I'm not sure if you'd find many nine year old's that patient and innocent now, but hey. It happens. (:
Overall, this was a good book. And even though I might not like books about little kids, this book definitely made me think more about little kids and what they think about. It was good, and I liked it.

The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa : Review

What can I say? This book is awesome. Hey, this whole series is awesome so far. And I know its a little early to say that last one, seeing as this is only the second book and all, but hey. It's awesome. So let's just leave it at that. And hope I didn't just jinx it, haha.
In this adventure, we pick up almost right where the last book left off. Ash and Meghan are continuing their journey to the Winter Court, and that's pretty much it.. besides the whole. Forbidden love thing. That always happens, doesn't it? But yeah. There's lots of killing in this book.. Also there's a love triangle, which isn't that interesting, but hey. It's Young Adult Fiction. I guess it always needs a love triangle.. People die, the adventure continues, so on and so on. It's just like any other fantasy in that way. I mean, it's awesome, but these books are all the same in that way. Which is fine with me. I really don't know what else to say. It's an awesome book, and if you haven't started this series, get on it! I mean, Hey. You never know if you like something before you read it, right? :P I think I'll leave it at that. It's kind of short, but I don't know what else to add. lol. Gimme a break, I just got off school. <3

Unseen by Rachel Caine : Review

What do I think about this book? Well. It's just like the others in the series. I'm not really sure if that's a good thing though, because I'm kind of getting tired of the whole idea.. After powering through the Weather Warden's series that just kept getting worse, I'm kind of finding that that's what I'm doing in this series. It's pretty  much the same. Which isn't fun for me. You'd think that she would've gotten her fill of writing in this world with the .. what was it? like. twelve books of the Weather Warden series? Yeah. That's too many for me. And oh look. Now there is more. So when I put this at four stars, it's because it was good. I'm just done with it. lol.
Basically what happened in this book was what happened in the last two books. Someone got kidnapped, She killed a bunch of people, and they saved the day at the end. Like jeez, I get that she's old now. I get that she's human now. It's old. Its over and done with. Just stop talking about it maybe? And maybe let the characters do something else for once. That's basically all I have to say about that.. Because I just powered through it. Nothing really stuck for me.. and I'm contemplating bumping it down to three stars.. but I'll just leave it like that. People are acting older than they should in this series and it's weird. Just ... finish it already.

Graceling by Kristen Cashore

First thing I want to say. THIS BOOK IS SO AWESOME. Seriously. It has everything. There's fighting, Lots of killing, People love eachother, and families come together. What could be better? It's kind of an adventure book, and that just makes it better. I loved it. Now, Let's change the subject.
Katsa is an awesome character, and I'm glad she was the main one. Her Grace was awesome, and even though she might not have fully understood it in the beginning of the book, she sure as hell learned what she could about it by the end. And it was awesome. She definitely grew as a character, and that's always a good sign, right? I think that Bitterblue is so cute to. She's a little vicious, but that's not always a bad thing. I think she would be someone I hang out with, even though she's younger, I'm sure she'd fit right in. Po would definitely be an interesting person too be around. And not just because of his eyes. He's got a.. different kind of personality. I'm not sure if I've met someone like him or not, but either way he'd be pretty cool. Also. I'm sure he's hot. If Katsa likes him, well. I guess I have to. ;D
But anyways. I'm not sure what else to right about it? I'm really excited for whenever I get the time to read the next one, I'm absolutely hooked already. So you should definitely read this book if you haven't yet. :D So here are the adds you all love. ;D lol.
