The Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer: Review
..........................................................................

This was just like the other Twilight books..
Not very good.
I can't stand how she writes..
Half the time I can't even pay attention.
No offense to any twi-hards out there..
But come on.
Tone it down a bit.
We don't need to know what happens in a second.
And if we needed to,
We don't really care.

Here is another Stephanie Meyer Torture Chamber.
Somehow I thought it was going to be alright.
Man was I wrong.
All Edward did was read people's mind
And sit outside Bella's house.
What a creep.

If you didn't like the other twilight books,
I would recommend that you don't read this.
Don't ask why I read this.
I didn't like Twilight.
Maybe if I was in grade seven again
(that's when I read them + i liked them)
I would like this one,
But seriously.
It wasn't good.
What was I thinking.

Kaythanks.

An Abundance of Katherine's by John Green: Review
.................................................................................

In the beginning, there was Katherine I.
Now, with a gaping hole in his stomach,
Colin has been dumped by his 19th Katherine.
His best friend Hassan, has come up with an idea that will totally change Colin.
ROAD TRIP!

This book was like Paper Towns,
(or was Paper Towns like this book?)
With the road trip,
The secret hiding place,
And the Girl who was self absorbed.
But I still liked it.

They wind up in Gutshot Tennessee,
And meet Lindsay Lee Wells.
They stay at her house with her mom, Hollis.
(Who I thought was a man..)

As the story progressed,
Colin worked on his Theory or Relationships.
I don't really know what else to tell you about this book.
It was good.
That's all.
Nothing more, Nothing less.
Maybe that's because I read Paper Towns first..
But yeeah.

Read this book if you like John Green's other books..
Just. Don't read Paper Towns before this.
It kinda made this one boring.

Kaythanks.
Heal by Kirsty James: Review
.....................................................

Got this book on Smashwords.com,
It's really good!
You should definitely check it out.

So there's Elena.
She has just moved into this little town
With her poultry farming grandma.
She get's a job working at a bookstore.
Makes some friends,
And makes some enemies.
Sounds normal, right?

Wrong.
She has some kind of power
(That she didn't really explain)
And uses it to heal people.
Did you ever see that movie 'Paul'?
She has that power.
So the damage reflects onto her.

Joe, her newly found love,
Is shocked when he hears about her power.
(anyone would be shocked,)
And doesn't let her heal him.
Which is understandable.
He doesn't want to hurt her.

Something I didn't like about this book is
When it randomly skipped from going to work,
All the way over to being in the hospital.
We missed so much!
Poor Frankie.
We missed your big scene!

Anyways, I'm not going to say how the ending went,
But it was really sweet.
Everyone was happy.
THE END.

Read this book if you want to read something different,
It's really fresh and also sweet.
So.
You know.
You should read this book! :D

Kaythanks.

The Annihilation of Foreverland: Review
.............................................................

This book,
This book.
Oh my Gawd.
You have to read this book.

It's about this kid named Daniel.
Except he doesn't know that.
It's also about this guy named Reed.
They've been taken by this scientist-like guy
To an Island even the FBI doesn't know about,
And are basically test-subjects for this project.
Everyone else on the island is male.
They're told that it's just like camp,
Only you don't leave this until you graduate.

What did they find out at the end?
I'm not going to tell you.
All I'll tell you is that
IT'S AWESOME.
And you should read it to find out. (;

Kaythanks.
PS. Did I say it was awesome? <3
ZombiCorns by John Green: Review
........................................................
So..
About this book.
I think it messed up on my epub formatting..
Because the book was scrambled.
It didn't make any sense..
It had a good concept,
But I had to fly through it to finish it.
It was short.
It had spelling mistakes.
Anything else?
Oh. It was like 'I Am Legend'
But with a girl.
So.
Kind of a rip off.
Sorry John Green!
Didn't like this one!

Kaythanks.
Hide-And-Go-Coffin: Review

................................................................................

Didn't really like this one..
Aside from the fact that there were only three stories,
It reminded me of a children's novel..
I get that it was for Halloween,
But really,
it needs more work..
That's just my opinion though,
So.
If you like books about Halloween,
You should read these..
Three, Tiny, Short stories.
Also.
Maybe I didn't get the whole book when I got this.
Um.
Yeeah.
Check it out?
Kaythanks. <3

Sweet Little Lies by Lauren Conrad: Review
..........................................................................................

What the hell.
That wasn't a good ending at all!
Just hanging out with your ex?
Yeeah.
That's really boring.
No one cares!

Anyways,
Onto the review!

In the second book of this series,
Things aren't always what they seem with the show.
You should listen to your friends when they say that
So-and-So is blabbing to the press.
Cause she probably is.
What a B!tch!

If you're going to date an abusive,
Alchoholic D-bag,
When he screams at you and fights with you,
I'd say that's your fault.
Stop going back to him.
HE'S NOT A GOOD PERSON!!

Jane was really stupid in this one.
And Why do all the sucessful skinny blonds
Always have fat kid brown haired pasts?
That's rediculous!
It keeps happening!
Are you all the same person?
Probably.

So, Um.
I really wasn't interested in this book.
Besides the fact that I read the first one.
So.
Really only read this one if you want to read the whole series.
Cause,
Things will be weird if you don't.

Think Mormon Logan's Run.

Tattoo Heaven by Lori Weber: Review

......................

I really didn't know why I didn't finish this book sooner.
It was awesome!
Tattoos, Stupid boys, AND Cancer? Whaat.!

Jackie's parents are split up.
During the summer, she visits her dad and his new girlfriend often,
And she makes a new friend across the street when
Her mom gets a cleaning job working for a busy lady.
Theresa has cancer, and her mom wants everything
To be absolutely Spotless 24/7, and it takes up all of her time.

Jackie's dad is dating a young, blond, tattoo artist.
She's french, and her dad is absolutely loving her.
Jackie feels left out, and when she's feeling rebelious one day,
She asks Amanda to give her a tattoo.
A butterfly.
Right in an awkward place that would probably hurt alot.
So. You know.
Not very fun.

Jackie's boyfriend is a total D-bag.
And he's in a band.
...
So. Not cool.

This book is basically about how being happy makes you better.
Cancer wise, Mentally wise, and anything else you can think of - wise.
You need to get rid of the people who treat you badly,
And when you do that, you need to help the people
Who need help most.

I'm almost 100% sure that this is a Canadian Book.
So, If you like Canadian books, (depends)
You should read this.
Make your country happy.
Or, if you like books that are about happy, (lolz.)
Read this!
Just, you know.
Read it.

L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad: Review

................................................................

What that hell kinda ending is that!
Now I have to go and find the next one!
Well, I guess that was the point.

Jane and Scarlet are new to hollywood.
They move from California to L.A,
And almost immediately become stars.
Probably unlikely to happen,
But anything goes, right?

First of all,
Madison is a b!tch.
Gaby is barely there,
Scarlet is the go-to girl,
and
Jane is the popular one.
Really,
I thought that Jane and Scarlet would've been switched personality wise,
But that's just because of their names.
Jane is so.. plain. :D

Damn you Lauren Conrad..
The first time I heard about you was on family guy.
Now you have books?
What the hell.
And they're good.
Seriously? hahah.

Anyways, If you want to read a book about:
Gossip, Reality TV, and the things you once dreamed about being,
This is the book for you. C:

Paper Towns by John Green: Review

...................................................

I am definately in love with this book.
It has everything!
Love, Comedy, Action, and Mystery..
Also the Characters are pretty awesome.
Really, this book makes me want to read
John Greens Other books.

My favourite part of this book was the road trip.
I could totally see me and my friends doing it,
And it was really funny.
I can't really say I didn't like any part of this book!
It was awesome!
I want to say that Margo and Q would be the cutest couple,
But I'm not so sure about that.
They were a little unstable.
Thats what makes them fun though!

I would recommend it to anyone/everyone who likes
Teen Fiction about real life..
Or Whatever that genre is called.

The Second Trial by Rosemarie Boll: Review

......................................................................

Whaat! My Second Review of the Day?
How is that Possible!
I know.
Here it is.

The first thing I thought when I was done this book: Finaly!

What I didn't like about this book was:
How the main Character acted like a 3 year old.. when he was supposed to be 13.
I get that he had to go into Witness Protection.
I get that he lost his dad to jail.
I get that he had to leave behind everything he knew.

But really,
Come on man,
You acted like a little kid.

Also?

I didn't like how he was in grade 8 and getting drunk.. and smoking.
I don't know anyone who did that in junior high.
Even if they had problems,
I'm pretty sure you're still in that young-pree teen kind of mode.

What I did like about this, however,

Was how much better the book got in the end.
He changed.
He learned from his mistakes.
He MOVED ON.
Honestly if the whole book was like part II,
I would've sped through it.

So, Really, I would only recommend this book to
People who like books with slow starts.
Books about losing family.
People who like little kids getting wasted.. and joining a gang...
And beating the sh!t outa some gingersnap kid.

But seriously. If you like learning about how hard it is to lose family,
They you should read this book.

To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee: Review

..............................................................

So, Here's the thing about this book.
Its about the finch family, who consists of:

Atticus-The Father/Lawyer
Scout(Jean-Louise)-The Daughter/Trouble Maker
Jem-The Son/Sports Fanatic
Dill-The Sometimes Family/Traveler
and Calpurnia-The HouseKeeper.

Its starts off with Scout and Jem finding Dill,
Us Finding out about the rest of the County(Maycomb)
and We also learn about what the times were like,
and how they treated others back then.

It was set in the times of way back when,
where ladies wore dresses and had little talking parties,
and there wasn't much money.
everything was cheap,
and you really didn't need money to have fun.

I honestly cant figure out why they called it
'To Kill A Mockingbird.'
when there really wasn't any mocking going on.

they mentioned a mockingbird in the tree, but that's about it.
If they were refurring to Boo Radley
as the mockingbird,
I can't really understand that either.
He just sat in his house until the time came for him to come out.
Care to explain anyone who knows?

Even though most people read this in grade 10 english (like I did)
I would recommend it to people who like learning about
What it was like by then.
How people were treated back then,
And just if you want a good holiday reading book.
